Roger Hallett
I am in my second term as a Corscombe Parish Councillor.
I was born and brought up in Berkshire although I can trace my family origins back to Somerset and my surname is not uncommon locally.
I am married to Patricia who was born in Bridport, we are both retired and moved to Corscombe in 2012.
My career started in Accounting and finished in Computing working as a Managing Consultant / Project manager with an International Business Systems Software House based in London.
Locally, I ring the bells at St Marys and help look after the Churchyard, I have previously served on the Fest and Village hall committees.
My interests include:
Gardening, (I am a member of the RHS and locally, the Halstock & Corscombe gardening club).
Steam trains, (I am a member of the WSR – West Somerset Railway).
Railway modelling, (I am a member of the BMRC – Bridport Model Railway Club).
Elderly but not vintage sports cars – I have and enjoy a MK1 225bhp Audi TT Roadster.
I endeavour to take an interest in all things local and do what I can to help.
