Deborah Childs

I grew up in a small village in West Dorset and moved to Corscombe in 1989 with my family.

My working life involved caring for the elderly and disabled in the community and now that I am retired I can spend more time on my hobbies which include walking, gardening, and bee keeping with my husband Chris who until six years ago was a dairy farmer at New House Farm in Corscombe.

I take a keen interest in the countryside and enjoy being part of the community.

I have been an Artsreach promoter for 11 years and am chairman of Halstock Community Theatre.

I was a First responder for a number of years, I am on the church cleaning and flower rota and help out at the Halstock shop occasionally.
