Minutes for the Parish Council Extraordinary meeting

19^th June 2025

Meeting to be held at Corscombe Village Hall.

Councillors present: Richard James (RJ). Henry Lovegrove (HL (NC), Roger Hallett (RH), Grant Prior (GP, Deborah Childs (DC), Garry Arnold and Mark Caddick

0 members of the public were present.

The meeting started at 7.30pm and was chaired by the chairman Cllr. James.

1. To receive and accept apologies and declarations of interest.

Apologies received from Cllr. Clarke, Cllr. Sherwood, Cllr. Fry, Cllr. White-Hamilton and  Cllr. D Hallett

No declarations of interest.

It was noted that it was recommended that the Parish Council reviews its procurement thresholds for tenders  to ensure that it is undertaking an appropriate amount of work for the value of goods or services being considered.   It was agreed this would be looked at in the July meeting.

2. To agree the council’s response to the report of the Internal Auditor

Proposed Cllr. Caddick, seconded Cllr. Arnold approved 7/7

3. To approve the 2024/2025 governance statement Section 1 AGAR form 3

Proposed Cllr. Prior, seconded Cllr. Lovegrove  approved 7/7

4. To approve the 2024/2025 Accounting statement Section 2 AGAR form 3 (C)

Proposed Cllr. Lovegrove, seconded Cllr. Childs approved 7/7

The meeting closed at 7.40pm
