- To receive and accept apologies and declarations of interest
- To approve the purchase of SID for Halstock village (A)
The posts, SID, additional bracket, 2 solar panels and screen protector is £4118 + VAT.
- To approve the purchase of up to four further salt bins for Halstock (B)
Highways has now given the go ahead to have up to four new grit/salt bins;
- top of Bull Bridge Mead
- top of Adams Green Hill at Clarkham Cross
- The other two are midway between Clarkham Cross and Stake Farm

Findings of speed survey
Site 3518 – Northern End of Village
This location meets criteria for a SID Southbound into the village.
Site 3519 – Southern End of Village
This location meets criteria for a SID Northbound into the village.
This means we have 2 locations for a SID to rotate between every 6 weeks.

There are no regular maintenance costs
2 x Posts – the cost to supply and erect two number galvanised SID posts in the verge at Yeovil Road is £ 868.00 + VAT
1 x Vario SID – £2695+VAT
1 x Additional bracket – £55+VAT
2 x Solar Panels £225 x 2 = £450+VAT
Screen Protector – 5mm Polycarbonate screen protector £50.
(This protects the screen for being damaged by catapults or accidental damage. A replacement screen is £260+VAT, whereas the cover is just £50+VAT)
